How brilliant to get a storm after what seems like so long. It wasn't quite the date of the last Brisbane storm, but my last chase report was New Year's Day so it's been a long time.

Quite a number of cells tracked across SE Qld with winds at most levels pushing them directly west to east. I didn't need to go far for some local activity around Logan:

Most lightning activity was confined to sheet lightning or crawlers, but some cloud-to-ground strikes did land nearby!

A nice early one for the season and I didn't have to drive too far for it! Yeah, I'm getting lazy.
