There was
not a lot of hope for today, but
the Bureau had storms posted for
the SW area of the SE coast
region (ie, southern and western
Darling Downs). Opportunity
availed itself as Drew and I had
nowhere else to be so we decided
to head out with a hope. Warwick
to Stanthorpe was our initial
plan.
Unfortunately
(I feel I've been saying
"unfortunately" a lot
in chase reports lately), the best
we experienced was a weak gust
front from a distance which
proceeded to enact a hasty
demise, and a couple of weak
rumbles of thunder from
Stanthorpe.
Only
distantly related to the storms,
we did get a rather nice sunset
on our way home just north of
Warwick.

Today
didn't hold as much hope as we
normally might have had, so we
weren't overly disappointed.
Tomorrow seems much better, so we'll see what
happens.
